Promoting Discipline, Integrity & Professional Conduct
At Vasudev Educational Group, discipline is the cornerstone of academic excellence and professional development. The Disciplinary Council has been constituted to maintain order, uphold institutional values, and ensure a safe, respectful, and conducive learning environment for all students, faculty, and staff. The Council works to ensure compliance with institutional rules, regulations, and the code of conduct while encouraging ethical behavior and responsible citizenship
The Anti Ragging Committee has been constituted in accordance with the guidelines of the University Grants Commission (UGC), Bar Council of India (BCI), and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) to prevent ragging, promote awareness, and ensure immediate action against any reported incident.
Objectives
- Maintain discipline and decorum across the campus.
- Foster a safe, respectful, and professional academic environment.
- Promote ethical behavior, responsibility, and accountability among students.
- Ensure compliance with institutional rules and regulations.
- Address cases of misconduct fairly and transparently.
Functions of the Council
- Monitor discipline and adherence to the institutional code of conduct.
- Investigate cases of indiscipline, misconduct, or violation of campus regulations.
- Recommend appropriate disciplinary action in accordance with institutional policies.
- Support the Anti-Ragging Committee, Student Grievance Redressal Cell, and other statutory bodies in maintaining campus harmony.
- Organize awareness programmes on ethics, discipline, and professional conduct.
- Submit recommendations and reports to the management for further action when required.
Areas of Responsibility
The Disciplinary Council deals with matters related to:
- Violation of institutional rules and regulations.
- Misconduct or indiscipline on campus.
- Acts of violence, bullying, or disruptive behaviour.
- Damage to institutional property.
- Misuse of campus facilities or resources.
- Any behaviour that adversely affects the academic environment or institutional reputation.
