History of Vasudev Educational Group

With a visionary goal of promoting quality legal education in the kumaun region, the first private law college was established at the Nainital district – Vasudev College of Law in 2017. The institute is established to meet the growing demand for legal professionals and is duly approved by the Bar Council of India, New Delhi.

Over the years, the college has produced accomplished Alumni who have actively participated in legal research and litigation through programs such as Criminal Process Clinic, Attorney General Program, externships, advocacy competitions, and simulated courtroom experiences.

Recognizing the need for quality pharmacy education in the region, Vasudev College of Pharmacy was established in 2023 to offer Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharm.) program. The institute is duly approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi and affiliated to the Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education.

In line with its mission to expand academic offerings and meet evolving healthcare needs, the college launched Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm.) programme in 2025, which is also approved by PCI, New Delhi and is affiliated to Veer Madho Singh Bhandari Uttarakhand Technical University (VMSB UTU), Dehradun.

Recognizing the outstanding contribution and excellence in imparting legal education, Founder and Chairman Vasudev Educational Group, Dr. Chandrashekhar Joshi ji was awarded the prestigious "Uttarakhand Gaurav Award" in 2018 by the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Shri Trivendra Singh Rawat in a special event organized by India News.
